I even came up with my own pumpkin spice blend after many, many attempts. I kept discovering recipes that I had never heard of before, all the while working on a recipe for pumpkin pie, which, by the way I did eventually figure out. So I started looking through some old recipe books of my grandmothers and realized there was an unbelievable amount of recipes! They were not organized in the slightest. It was being used for storage of my grandparents furniture and things after they had passed away.
